Species: Draconian, half human and half dragon, second born. Newly discovered race with a brief but dark history. Being half dragon makes them very powerful beings. Distinguishing dragon features being feathers and blue skin.

Personality: Still Friendly yet shy due to the stigma of being a draconain freed from Athriel possession, because of his connection to the Soulstone of Arrentheus he is the first and only draconian in Xelthan history able to retain original soul after his transformation. He understands their wariness around him as he was once human too and still has his human soul, this grants him patience in spite of frustration. People find it surprising that he shows emotion and is able to function better than the rest of his new species. Can become very aggressive when threatened. Some people can still recognise him due to his unusual gold and silver eye colours caused by his soul's connection to a Soulstone. His soul has matured through hardship but still remains true to his human self.

From a human to a draconian history:
Alex takes this form when he was kidnapped and transformed into a Draconain soldier for the Athriel Council's army that nearly achieved dominion over Xeltha's countries. His transformation had a steep price in flesh and souls, not just from himself thus draconians are born with barely a soul, making them very easy to posses and control. To prevent his soul from being offered he unchained the memories of his soul that sought refuge in the Vanguard of the Soulstone of Arrentheus. Vanguard is a human who's body is bound to the infinite crystal core of an Anima, though body is made from the infinite potential of the Anima core a Vanguard is cursed; borrowing the form of the crystal to form a human body is a powerful spell requiring a lot of power, without power the body turns back into crystal and the soul sleeps within the core of the Soulstone with the rest. With Alex's soul shards the Vanguard was awakened from its crystal sleep but it formed its own kindred identity by using his unchained memories to learn what it meant to be alive, the Vanguard took the form of a girl calling itself Arelda. However the longer Arelda lived the more she devoured Alex's soul to keep her alive. Her existence required powerful spells that would consume all of Alex's memories. To save her creator she returns Alex's memories but without power to sustain her form she turns to crystal and disappears. But his soul ends up being split and sent to two bodies, his original human body, calling itself Keo and his draconian body, calling itself Xen, both harbouring half of his memories and his personality. Xen struggled to fight the Athriel council for possession of his draconian body, causing him to fear Keo, whereas Keo remembers his time with Arelda and wants to fulfil her wishes by restoring Alex's memories to complete his soul. Eventually Keo and Xen clash, restoring Alex's soul. However Alex chooses to reside in the draconian body, Xen fades as he becomes a weak aspect of Keo's soul, fear. However Keo embodies the care for Arelda's precious memories of her existence; this deep connection allows him to have the potential for a soul so he exists within Alex's body now calling himself Keo Xen. Alex uses his new draconian prowess to aid in his fight against Azrael to free the souls she has taken, he doesn't remember clearly these events and Keo deems it necessary, if he remembers Arelda then she could unlink his memories again so Keo departs on his own journey in hopes that one day he'll find Arelda again.
